Saying
Goodbye: The
Youngstown Opera Guild regrets having to inform its membership
of the "retirement" of Valentino DeVito as Director of
Excursions. Val
has done a wonderful job of arranging for the Guild to travel to Pittsburgh
and Cleveland to see many operas over the years. For this; we
are eternally grateful. Val has asked that we find someone else
to carry on the duties of this time-consuming project.
David Venerose
has agreed to begin to take on this responsibility with the next
opera which should be sometime around February, 2005. We
will have more information on location and ticket prices in the future.
Again, we wish to thank Val for all of his hard work.
